Types of lessons
At my studio, there are three kinds of lessons: private 1 on 1 lessons, small groups of 2-3 students, and large group classes of 4-5 students.
-
Learn guitar with one-on-one private lessons that are perfect if you're seeking lessons that are tailored just for you.
We can cover everything from basic strumming and chords to advanced techniques and music theory.
No student should ever feel bashful or intimidated about where they are on guitar - it’s my job to meet you at your level and help you improve in a fun, but well-planned way!
-
Learn guitar with a friend in a group of 2 or 3.
Are private lessons a little out of the budget right now? Perhaps you are feeling a bit anxious about one on one lessons?
Small group guitar lessons are perfect for this reason because playing with your peers can keep you motivated and having lots of fun. Often friends, family, and business colleagues will take small group lessons together.
Students that form small groups often get together to jam and help each other out when one student is running into trouble.
If you don’t know anyone that would like to start a small group with you, email me and I’ll see if I can create a group with another student on the waitlist, (note: put small group option in the contact form)
Students that take lessons as part of a small group also receive considerable discounts - see the prices page for more info.
-
I run large groups of 4-5 students in a rotation of 8 week long guitar classes.
We may focus on anything from the basics all the way to learning the style of a specific artist. These classes are quickly becoming my most sought after option.
Some of the classes include : Intro to guitar, Jazz Guitar Basics, Guitar for Swifties, Jimi Hendrix 101 and much more.
Often students become friends in classes and go on to take small group classes together.
Classes are always 1 hr in length the same time each week with a week off between the 4th and 5th week.
All classes have a 1 time fee of $250.
Keys to success
When it comes to learning guitar, I believe the experience should be as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. That’s why I've designed my guitar lessons in Easton, PA to offer you more than just technical skills.
Let me show you the benefits of choosing my lessons and how they can make your musical journey truly exceptional.
Stress-free environment
I always seek to create an encouraging and chill environment at my studio. While practicing is important, I never ever want a student to feel any pressure or stress taking lessons.
We need to keep in mind that progress comes with lots of ups and downs over the course of months and years. My students often say our lesson time is what they look forward to most every week.Truly Personalized Lessons
You see this term a lot on the internet but what does it truly mean? For me, it means that I try to understand how an individual student learns best and create materials that cater to this learning style.
For beginners looking to learn chords and strumming, in addition to songs I will be giving you exercises designed just for you.
Advanced students will find me giving them challenging lines that incorporate different techniques that keep their skills sharp in the style they like.A focused yet flexible plan
For each student I have an overarching plan on how to move them forward with their goals in music. However, at every corner we are going to find unexpected things that need to be addressed, techniques that need to be fixed etc.
With this in mind, I do not stick to a rigid, pre-meditated curriculum, rather we are need to be flexible and go to where lessons naturally want to lead.Constant Support
Unlike the vast majority of lesson studios, my students have access to text me with any issues they are running into on the guitar between lessons.
It is very common that you might be in a lesson, have a major breakthrough, and then forget everything the moment you leave. Or between lessons you just can’t get a technique or one part of a song. I’m always ready to help you out!Organized materials and post-lesson video
Often if a student has come to me after having had other guitar instructors, they are shocked at the lengths I go to to make sure they are equipped to practice between lessons. For some students I use physical notebooks, most of my students have moved to using Google Drive or email.
After every lesson, students receive a dated folder with pdf’s of what we did plus a comprehensive lesson overview. The videos are absolutely critical because you can see me demonstrating exactly how to do something without having to guess lesson to lesson.
All levels welcome
Whether you're just starting out or you've been playing guitar for years, I'm here to help you take your skills to the next level.
I love working with students of all levels—it's all about finding your rhythm and making music that's meaningful to you.

Alecia
Here’s Alecia who takes lessons for fun and personal enjoyment. In just a couple years she’s racked up a library worth of songs from the likes of Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Lizzy McAlpine, and many more!
Matt
Matt came to me as an advanced student. I helped him prepare for his Berklee audition by learning this John Mayer solo note for note, with special attention to each and every technique. He also learned a Jim Hall jazz guitar arrangement that helped him pass with flying colors.
George
Here’s a note from George, who came to me having played guitar for over 40 years and is still improving every day, hitting major milestones with every few lessons.

What students are saying
Find out what students had to say about Keith’s guitar lessons in Easton, PA.
“Keith is just an awesome guy! He moves at a good pace and tailors material to your needs. I respect his ability to stay focused and to make the most of your time.
His lessons come with quality material to practice with and videos of him showing you exactly how to do it. Great teacher for those ready to learn guitar!”
— Parker J.
“Keith delivered such a great first guitar lesson and experience for my 10-year-old son. After a year of begging for a guitar and lessons, we finally gifted him both for his birthday. I was concerned with finding the right instructor for him, primarily because I didn’t want this to be a novel experience, quickly vacated as soon as he realized it will take real effort. Keith got him interested and started a fire in him right out of the gate. My son didn’t know how to hold the guitar before his first lesson. Within the first half-hour, he was holding it, tuning it and strumming the first few notes of a real song. He hasn’t stopped since! Success!!”
— Allison W.
“Feel plus technical acumen: these combined qualities are rare in a guitar instructor. Keith has them. Or a guitar instructor has one or the other concomitant with an overblown ego that's a pain to deal with. Keith is not like that...
On a personal note, I feel that the way Keith humbly presents tips and suggestions is great for players at all levels. There was never an instance where I felt stupid after Keith corrected me. He has the social intelligence that is often lacking from teachers in any medium…”
